Razor Courses

Proper training and certification are essential for using the Razor Sidemount system. Divers typically undergo specific sidemount diving courses to learn the techniques, skills, and safety procedures associated with using the Razor Sidemount system.

During the course you will learn proper adjustment of the harness, cylinder configuration, regulator configuration, proper weighting and weight distribution for the best trim, regulator switches with one hand, different propulsion techniques, equipement failure handling (bungee, bolt snap, tank clamps, bat wing, regulators, etc.) as well as other general sidemount skills adapted to the use of the Razor system.

Owing a Razor sidemount harness is an advantage, but if you don’t own one, you can also rent it (rental equipment is not included in the course fee).
