Scuba Diving Experience Program for Kids on Gili Trawangan

Diving Course
Become a certified diver and receive a license to dive unsupervised to a maximum depth of 18m. This PADI certification is recognized worldwide and is valid for the rest of your life.
The course involves dive theory, video presentations; confined water pool training which ease you into the fundamentals of diving; and four boat dives on Gili’s amazing reefs where you will master the skills learnt in the pool.
Two dives to a maximum depth of 12m and two dives to a maximum depth of 18m.
Course Pre-requisites:
- Minimum 10 years of age
- Medically fit to dive
- Be able to Float for 10 minutes
- Be able to swim, freestyle for 200 metres / or with a mask, snorkel and
fins for 300 metres

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you’re short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you ̶ particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide. This course is an intermediate step for earning an Open Water Diver certification, if that’s your ultimate goal.
The PADI Scuba Diver course is ideal for those with limited time. It involves 3 modules of theory from the Open Water course, half a day of confined pool training and 2 open water dives up to 12 meters.
You will receive a certification that lets you dive to 12 meters under the supervision of a Divemaster or Instructor. This license is valid worldwide.

The Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary care course is designed to build confidence and increase the willingness of lay rescuers when they are faced with a medical emergency.
It is also an important prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course if you do not have a recognized first aid and CPR certificate.

Fun Dives
Already a certified diver? Come explore the amazing waters and reefs around the Gili’s Island with Laguna Gili Dive Center
All the dive sites around the Gilis are within a 15 minute boat ride away allowing us to return to the dive shop between dives giving you the chance to shower, rest, relax or get ready for the next dive.
Generally, we dive 3 times a day at 9.00am, 11.30am, 2.30pm and 18.00 (Night Dive). But as we return to the dive center you can choose which ones to go on. Night dives can also be arranged depending on the conditions around the Gili Islands but generally go out a few times a week.
All dives are drift dives, so the boat will pick you up where you surface with your PADI Divemaster. With a maximum of 4 divers per Divemaster we want to offer a relaxed and personalized experience.
We include all the equipment that you need to enjoy your dive: tank, BCD, regulators, mask, fins, wetsuit as well as boat transport to and from the dive site and one of our local Divemasters to show you all the best spots.
